Last Harvest

Postby soccermomof3 » Mon Nov 17, 2014 1:12 pm

Today I went out to gather the last of my swiss chard from under the snow. I was excited to see it still looks great--isn't Mother Nature amazing. However, she let winter arrive when I still have lots of fall clean up to do! Oh well, it will still be there waiting for me after a melt, I guess.

She certainly is.
I wouldn't worry about the cleanup, as you said, it will be there after the melt.
I bet the chard tasted great

She took a lot of us by surprise this year, I'm guessing.
Love chard that's had a little nip of cold.
