Harvested the pineapple yesterday. It was rather bland this time .. Tasted ok , with no bitterness, but not the intense flavour my first little one had. It may be because of the very hot weather we've been having over ripened it . Had half of it last night for dessert , and will have the other half tonight. I've planted the top to see if I can get it to grow into a 3rd generation. The other pineapple that decided to fruit has its fruit growing rapidly in this unusually hot weather too.
